Meesapulimala is the second highest peak in Southern India.The altitude of Meesapulimala is 2641 meters (8660 feet ) above water level. The densely covered terrain has eight peaks that together resemble a mustache. Therefore, It is known as a Meesapulimala. An ideal spot for trekking, the start line of the trek is either Rhodovalley or Silent Valley which lies 6 km before Rhodovalley. After trekking for about 8 km from Rhodovalley. One gets to witness the grasslands, wildlife, rain-forests, and little waterfalls. Amidst the luxurious green valleys and many Rhododendrons, tea estates, and bubbling streams, peace is what one gets to experience here in. The campsite is located at 1,412 m from sea level in the southern Western Ghats. It is below the Meeshapuli valley amidst a tea plantation and with a valley view.
