Overview

Let’s time travel to experience the legacy of one of the India’s most ancient & prosperous kingdoms of Vijayanagara – The Hampi. Words cannot explain the wonder that is Hampi, so let’s experience in our own Muddie way, While we revel in the history. We are gonna stay very close to the river at our cosy homestay which is stone throw distance from famous cafe “Old Chill Out”. What more? social hours in the night, a dip at the lake (probably cliff jumping with life-jacket if we get a permit and proper water level)…all of them to quench your thirst for an exciting weekend!

Itinerary

Day 0 (Friday night): ? Start from Bangalore around 9 PM (4 pick up points - Tin Factory, Indiranagar, Koramangala, Guraguntepalya metro station) Day 1 (Saturday): ? Reach Hampi campsite, freshen up & breakfast, start the Heritage Walk along the banks of the river Tungabhadra towards the monuments/temples like Varaha temple, Sule Bazar, the magnificent Vittal temple etc. Break for lunch in the middle. ? Visit Virupaksha temple and have a nice sunset view at Virupaksha hill. Come back to the campsite, freshen up, dinner & a social gathering at night. Day 2 (Sunday): ? Start the day little late, breakfast, enjoy the cool breeze of the pristine Sanapur Lake - take a dip if you wish to (Muddie Trails will provide few life jackets), go on a coracle ride on the lake (optional - self-sponsored), take lots of selfies, relax and rejuvenate. ? Drive to the base of the Anjanadri hill (Hanuman's birthplace) & hike up the hill on the northern banks of Tungabhadra river, relax & enjoy the amazing sunset, get back to the campsite ?late in the evening, enjoy hot dinner & another party on the Christmas eve before retiring for the night. Day 3(Christmas day - Monday): ? Wake up late, check-out of campsite, breakfast, drive to ?Anegundi (the kingdom of monkeys as it's called) and/or Thungabadra dam (optional) & start ? We will back to Bangalore after self-sponsored lunch. Reach Bangalore by night, will drop at same points as picked up. ? In case we get late (after 11 PM), you will be dropped at your door-step by our vehicle or Muddie Trails' organizer if you are a single girl.

Things to carry:
? Basic essentials like toothbrush, soap, towel etc
? Shades/cap/sunscreen
? Full charge mobiles with power banks - to take lot of selfies!
? Selfie stick or DSLR if you are interested - the mountains & the lake we will camp at are
extremely beautiful.
? Small first aid kit if you have and your medications if any
? Odomos for insects & mosquitoes
? Important: Polythene covers to put used/wet clothes
? An extra polythene cover to dispose your trash during trek - this is important, we have a no-littering policy
? Carry little bit of cash.
? Don't carry expensive items
? A photo ID card xerox- like Aadhar and Driving License
? A lightweight backpack, lightweight clothes for the little humid climate out there &
comfortable shoes/sandals - anything is fine as we don't have any trek to do.
? Carry your jerkin - it can get cold at night
? A blue-tooth speaker, pen-drive with some music.
Rules and Regulations:
1. No alcohol & smoking during Treks & adventure activities
2. No Luxury. Basic facilities
3. Pack our food whenever possible to avoid delays
4. Flexible itinerary
5. No littering anywhere
6. Co-operate with the organizer & fellow travelers
7. Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other 8. Do not advice
organizer(s) on itinerary and schedule
9. Offbeat travel - No tourist places
10. You are responsible for your own safety during activities
Inclusions:
? Travel by push-back vehicle, all entry fees for historical places,
? 2-Days/2-Nights accommodation at our campsite in a beautiful location on a 3 or 4 sharing basis (sleep in tents at night with sleeping bag per person),
? 3 days breakfast, 2 nights dinner,
? Expert guide on 1st day for heritage walk,
? Two organizers from MT to look after all the activities and a lot of entertainment!
Exclusions:
?Lunch, any misc. expenses not mentioned in the itinerary.
Cancellation Policy:
? Full refund if you make a request for 3 days of the meetup start date. - 50% refund
within 3 days and before 24 hours from meetup start time.
? No refund within 24 hours of meetup start time
? No refund during/after the meetup
? 10% online gateway charges will be deducted in any kind of refund done online
