Bandhavgarh Tour

Day 1: Pick Up from Katni/Umaria Railway Station and drive to logistic area ‘Camp Bhandavgarh ’ Documentation Reception, documentation, orientation briefing and drive to training area ‘Camp Bagdara’. Training On Local people and customs Local Biodiversity, Flora and Fauna and Resources available locally. Safety in wilderness Jungle hygiene First Aid Camp night in pup tents. Day 2: Hands on training Various ways of building fire for cooking, warmth and safety and maintaining Jungle fire safety Finding, Extracting, Harvesting Water, it's transportation and conservation Finding sustenance from local flora and fauna, surviving on jungle food. Jungle movement, navigation and safety Camp night in pup tents Day 3: Practical training on Finding water and food in jungle Lighting fire and preparing food Making improvised shelters using local resources Reading signs of animal movement, navigation and movement through jungle Outdoor night in self-created shelters in ‘Camp Tiger’s Call’ Day 4: Confidence Building Exercise Participants will move from training camp to survival exercise launch pad with minimum survival equipment while foraging for food and water en route Exercise will be done under supervision of instructors Outdoor night in self-created shelters Day 5 & 6: Final Survival Exercise Participants will be launched in small groups to move through the jungle towards ‘Camp Bhandavgarh 365’ over two days and one night through designated jungle corridors Only emergency provisions will be carried, sustenance for over 36 hours will be based on finding the same in jungle Instructors will not directly supervise but will act as safety directors Celebratory Camp Fire and dinner Day 7: Tiger safari at Bhandavgarh Tiger Sanctuary Presentation of certificates, souvenirs, group photograph and dispersal Drop at Katni/ Umaria railway Station.
