Munnar is a town in the western ghats but mountain range of Kerala. It is called “Kashmir of South India”. Munnar got its name because of its strategic location at the junction of three rivers whereas, ‘Moonu’ means ‘three’ and ‘Aru’ means ‘river’.
Every twelve years, the hills of this place burst into a sea with blue flowers. Therefore, an endless stretch of rolling hills grown with tiny blue flowers. It is time Neelakurinji, so a flower with 40 odd varieties, blossoms in all its grandeur. Since the hills will bath in a dreamy shade of blue. For shopaholics, it is heaven whether tea or spices. Therefore You can collect various spices from here like ginger, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, coffee, clove, nutmeg, etc. Visit this place because this is one of the best places to travel.
