Overview

Camping at Bijli Mahadev

Enjoy the Off-Road Trip and Camping at Bijli Mahadev. It is located 22 km from Kullu across the river Beas. The Mahadev temple is 3 Kms from the “Chansari” village. From there, one has to trek or take a 4×4 uphill. We will, however, be in our tough 4X4 vehicles and reach an exotic camping site there.

The meadows and the temple are so grand and formidable. It becomes difficult to put the camera back in the case.

Bijli Mahadev, named after the miracle that occurs here. That is one of the most sacred and revered temples of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The temple of Lord Shiva is constructed in the ancient architectural style. There is an ancient “Shiva – Lingam” in the heart of the temple and atop the temple is a staff. Bijli Mahadev is located at an altitude of about 2,460m in the Kullu Valley.

Enjoy Trekking in Bijli Mahadev

Like most trekking routes within the northern a part of the country. The Bijali Mahadev Trek remains closed the winter months. Thanks to extreme weather and immense snowfall. The road remains un-travelable and unfit for tracking. Also, the world is susceptible to violent thunderstorms. Therefore the simplest time to go to the place is during the summer months,

The Bijli Mahadev Trek is right for beginners and for people with health problems. Since the track doesn’t involve steep climbing or reaching higher altitude. The trek is comparatively safe and hardly records any deaths or accidents. In spite of being susceptible to thunder and lightning. I personally I’m almost athletic physically, don’t continue tons of treks and will be considered a rookie during this matter. However, the trek felt easy to me and that I didn’t have any problem in completing it.

After returning from my trip to Bijli Mahadev. I used to be energized and freshened up. The location may be a Paradise for travel enthusiasts. Bijali Mahadev Trek offers an authentic experience of trekking in Himachal without browsing tons of struggle. So don’t wait up and begin packing for your trip to the present wonderful place.
