Rajahmundry to PapiKondalu is a hill range in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh India. Papi kondalu are formed among Khammam East Godavari and West Godavari districts. Since the entrance of Papikondalu can be seen from Koruturu (West Godavari District). Papikondalu hills are one of the most visited due to the tourist attraction in Andhra Pradesh.
Papikondalu has a wide varieties of natural vegetation and wildlife. But they are spread across the three districts of Andhra pradesh. Though Papi hills lies in Eastern Ghats. Since Papi kondalu wild life sanctuary is shelter for animals including tigers, panthers, antelopes, hyenas, jackals, spotted deers and many types of birds. The scenary includes the waterfalls at Munivaatam because of the peaceful atmosphere at this tribal area make this area a tourist attraction.
The mammals were seen and recorded by camera traps includes Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, rusty-spotted cat, jungle cat, leopard cat, sloth bear, small Indian civet, Asian palm civet, wild boar and honey badger. Therefore, Herbivores recorded include spotted deer, sambar deer, Indian muntjac, Indian spotted chevrotain, gaur, nilgai and four-horned antelope.
The national park has population of both Rhesus macaque but they are normally found because north of Godavari and Bonnet macaque that are usually found south of Godavari. Gray langurs are also seen inside the national park. Since The presence of water buffaloes in the area was recorded since during the British imperial time.
