Ramanagara Night Trek and Camp

Ramanagara Famous for being the shooting location of the movie Sholay. This campsite is just not about trekking but offers a number of adventure activities. Ramanagaram Hills resemble Hindu immortal when looked at from a particular angle. Hence have religious significance too. One Day Light Trekking to Ramanagaram is a paradise for bird watchers and adventure junkies alike. Ramanagaram is about 50 km south-west of Bangalore. Ramanagara was out of the present Bangalore Rural district. By moving the taluks of Channapatna, Kanakapura, Ramanagaram, and Magadi taluks into the new district.

Ramnagara places during a valley enclosed by rocky hillocks on Bangalore – Mysore Highway. Ramanagaram was earlier mentioned as in close. But this name of Ramanagara finds its origin from the once existed village Ramagiri foothill of the Ramadevarabetta. Ramanagaram is legendary for its silk market, giving it the opposite name of Silk town.

  1. Rocks of Ramanagara
    In this area, the seven hills are very famous. Seven hills are Shivaramagiri, Yatirajagiri, Somagiri, Krishnagiri, Revannasiddeshwara Betta, Jalasiddeshwara Betta, and Sidilakallu Betta. That dot the landscape of Ramanagaram.
  2. Ramadevara Betta –
    Another well-known hill is Ramadevara betta. This small door cavity is made within the rock to feature caves.
  3. Janapada Loka –
    Janapada Loka is located in the Ramanagara district from Bangalore to Mysore highway at a distance 55 km from Bangalore. It is associate faithful to conserve and multiply the agricultural folk culture of Karnataka. A gallery, open-air theater, and museum also located here.
