Overview

The Triund Snowline trek offers panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. The trek is moderate nature. Triund is a large land of green grass and pasture like. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Mcleodganj to Tirund. (2875 metres / 9 KM / 4 Hours) Reporting at the Base Camp Mcleodganj before 10:00 AM & Trek to Triund via Dharamkot. It is a beautiful walk through mixed forests of deodar, oak, and rhododendron. Triund is situated on a ridge with a beautiful view of whole Kangra valley on one side and Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. We have lunch on the way. Overnight Camping at Triund. Day 2: Triund to Snowline (3200mt /3 KM / 4 Hrs) The second-day trek covers 4km one-way distance along glacial moraines. Laka Got situated at the snout of a small glacier is the base camp for the shepherds. The small glacier is called snow-line. Lunch at snow-line and return to triund. Night stay at triund. Day 3: Tirund to Mcleodganj and Departure. (9 KM / 3 Hours) Check out from Triund Camp after the Breakfast. Trek back to Base Camp Mcleodganj via Bhagsu Falls. Board the buses in the evening departing from Mcleodganj/Dharamshala for your onward Journey).

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek -- 80% Refund. Cancellation between 30 days to 20 days prior to the trek -- 50% Refund. Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek -- No Refund.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Service Tax @ 9% payable on the trek
We provide transport from pick up point to Base Camp and vice-versa at a particular time. So, you have to report this place before that time. If you failed to reach within this time then you have to make your own arrangement to reach and return from our Base Camp, or we can arrange a transport depends on availability by paying an additional charge.
We expect all trekkers to carry their own backpacks. All common gear will be carried by the support If for some reason a trekker is unable to carry his or her backpack, he/she can offload the same by paying an additional charge.
If for any reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then we will make arrangements for his/her return to the nearest road head. A staff will accompany the participant to the nearest road head.
We will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trek. And if you damage or lose any of our equipment then you have to pay the full market price of that equipment.
Drinking and smoking during the trek are strictly prohibited. If found flouting the rules, your participation on the trek will be canceled with immediate effect.
In case of any medical emergency, Medical expenses, if required, at the medical center are to be borne by the participant.
If any of our treks canceled due to any unavoidable reason. We will issue a voucher of the same amount of the trek. This can be redeemed for the same or any other trek within 1 year.
We have the right to postpone cancel the Trek/ Cycling/ Camp/ Expedition with or without any reason. We also have the right to terminate the participation of any member at any stage.
In case of any delay due to bad road condition or other unforeseen reasons. We will not be responsible.
All the issues will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata.
All the costs are for Indian Citizen only.

Do not make any travel arrangements until you have received an email confirmation from us.
Do not take any type of medication on your own before asking your Doctor or our trek leader.
*Minimum 8 persons are required to organize a trek.
