About Trip

The trip begins at 9:00 AM from Havelock Dock(Jetty), where you board at Black Marlin. It is a customized boat for best fishing experience. A two engine boat can go upto 24 Knots per hour. This boat has made its way upto the invisible banks and Barren Island for trips that lasts for 3-4 Days. Some of the stories behind Black Marlin is worth stating. One dates back to February 2014, when a Black Marlin weighing 200 Kilograms. It was caught after 3-4 Hours of effort. And the name of the boat goes that way “Black Marlin”.

On your way you will pass through the Light House, Peel Island and Nicholson Island. The trip begins and the crew starts its work setting up the fishing rods for your trip. Trolling begins right away within 15 Minutes of your trip. As you get comfortable in the boat the team helps you to use the fishing rods and training you with some basics about how to handle the rods.

Once you are comfortable you start Jigging and Popping with help from the crew members. The boat makes both fast and slow moves while on the water. The reef around Wilson island is a treat to see. The turquoise water here is not seen at many places at the islands.These beaches are virtually untouched and only local fishermen anchors around these islands. We anchor close to John Lawrence for some time. Enjoy the view and relax during your fishing trip.

Please note that all guests are requested to wear life jackets during the entire trip. You can carry any additional food or beverages as per your requirements. A container is present on board where you can place your belongings.
