A road tip to Ladakh is best advised by your own vehicle. This is beneficial in a number of ways and allows you to explore much more in a limited time. With that said, bringing your own vehicle for the trip is not always a choice for everyone. Some people do not feel confident enough to drive, while others have little time. Many people live a little too far to drive from home. The next best thing to do is to take a flight to Ladakh and rent a taxi for local sightseeing. If you were also planning to do the same, the Ladakh 2020 taxi rates mentioned below can help you determine the total cost and plan your budget.

There is a small increase in taxi fares on all routes compared to the previous year, but this is usually the case every year. Tourism in Ladakh is increasing and the number of tourists increases with each season. With the growing number of people visiting here, the demand for taxis has also increased. And an increase in demand is always followed by an increase in cost, as is the case with Ladakh today.

Should you book a taxi in advance? I would say yes, you should. Last year, during the high tourist season, people found it difficult to find a taxi, because everyone who called was already booked. If you plan to visit from June to September, I recommend that you book a taxi before your visit.
